Welcome to our internet home. We hope you enjoy your visit!
Hello. We are Tony and Terri DeJarnett and we live in the great state of Texas. We would like to thank you for visiting with us and our "kids". We raise long and smooth haired dachshunds and both coats of chihuahuas. Chihuahuas are the smallest big dog you will ever meet and make wonderful pets for adults and older children. Dachshunds make great all around family pets, although they can be a bit stubborn. Dachshunds come in so many coats and colors and their personalities are unlike any other breed of dog we have found. We have a hodge podge of colors but we especially like the English creams and chocolates. Although we have various colors of dachshunds, we breed for conformation first and not strictly for color. We began building our breeding program on the diligence and intelligent breeding practices of other dachshunds breeders. Although we only know a few personally, we do appreciate all they have done to better this wonderful breed. Our goal with each breeding is to come as close to each breeds standard as we possibly can. The quality improves with each generation.
Our values are very simple. We raise healthy, well adjusted and socialized puppies to become a loving part of someones family. All of our puppies are raised in the kitchen/dining area (no room for a table hence no cooking for guests!). We have three granddaughters, the light of our lives, who helps socialize all of our puppies. Our puppies will have had all appropriate shots and wormings before they leave our home. They leave with a written health guarantee, samples of food they are eating with instructions and registration papers. We prefer our puppies be spayed or neutered but will make puppies available to reputable breeders. We do not sell to pet stores or brokers. As stated on our health quarantee, our pups are welcome at our home no matter the circumstances if you can't keep them. Our dogs are not "throw away" dogs.
Enjoy your visit. If you have questions, please call. We love to talk about our dogs!!
